John Powell's score verkrijgbaar vanaf 8 april 2014

Sony Music brengt John Powell's score voor Rio 2 uit op 8 april 2014. Componist John Powell keert na 2 jaar rust terug naar de filmmuziek wereld en dat met de score voor Rio 2. Powell componeerde ook de muziek voor het eerste deel. Leuke thema's en zwoele samba ritmes staan centraal in deze 55 minuten durende score. John Powell werkt samen met enkele Braziliaanse artiesten zoals Milton Nascimento, een bekende singer/song writer en gitarist; de zanger Carlinhos Brown, Barbatuques, een percussie specialist en UAKTI een groep samba muzikanten. Powell is ondertussen de meester van de animatiefilm geworden met scores zoals Ice Age 2, 3 en 4, The Lorax, Rio, How To Train Your Dragon. Naast Rio 2 heeft John Powell ook nog de score geschreven voor How To Train Your Dragon 2 welke we in juni 2014 mogen verwachten.
